For balloon columns at a Dubai exhibition stand, start with the stand plan and the instructions for your actual show. Mark the proposed positions, ask the supplier for the display dimensions, and check the proposal with the person handling exhibitor requirements. Keep artwork approval, supplier access and the end-of-show handover in the same placement brief.
An exhibition proposal needs more than a photograph of columns beside a shop door. Explain what is inside your stand, what surrounds it and how visitors will use the space. The useful outcome is a checked position, rather than simply a preferred colour scheme.
Mark the stand boundary before choosing a position
Send the stand number, hall or location reference and the current drawing supplied for your space. Show the edges of the stand, open sides, reception counter, demonstration area and furniture that will be present. Mark your proposed column positions on that drawing.
If you do not know whether a proposed position is within your allocated space, ask the organiser or your exhibitor contact. Do not describe a neighbouring aisle or shared entrance as part of your stand. Ask which parts of the proposal need to be checked against the show’s current instructions.
Explain where visitors will approach from and what you want them to notice: the brand name, a reception point or a particular product demonstration. Keep that purpose specific so the display can be discussed alongside the stand’s other activities.
Ask for the dimensions of the proposed arrangement
Lunar Moments’ Branded Balloon Columns listing includes two balloon columns, one large balloon on each column and balloon bases. Personalisation is charged separately, depending on the design. The listing supports customising colours, personalisation, logos and branding.
Ask the team for the proposed height and footprint, including the bases and top balloons. Those details need to come from the arrangement being proposed; the product description does not establish dimensions for your stand.
Put those requested dimensions on the marked plan once confirmed. If a stand drawing already contains a height or position restriction, pass the actual wording to the supplier. Do not turn a general inspiration image into an assumed technical specification.
Build an exhibition placement pack
Use the following checklist to gather the few documents and answers needed for a useful discussion. It is an organising aid, not a list of requirements imposed by every exhibition.
| Part of the pack | Include or ask | Person to resolve it |
|---|---|---|
| Stand identification | Show name, dates, stand reference and current plan version. | Your exhibitor coordinator. |
| Proposed position | Two marked positions, stand boundary and neighbouring activity. | Your stand designer or event lead. |
| Display dimensions | Supplier-proposed overall heights and footprints, including bases and toppers. | Lunar Moments, then your stand contact. |
| Show instructions | The relevant organiser answer or manual section, with unresolved questions identified. | Your exhibitor contact. |
| Artwork | Approved logo version, wording, colour references and final approver. | Your brand owner. |
| Build access | Requested arrival window, stand receiving contact and actual supplier-entry instructions. | Event lead and supplier. |
| Breakdown | When the stand needs to be cleared, agreed removal or collection scope and available contact. | Event lead and supplier. |
Compare positions on the drawing
As an illustrative planning exercise, consider one proposal near your stand’s greeting point and another beside a display counter. For each, ask what visitors would see and whether the position interferes with the activities shown on your own plan. Neither position is approved merely because it looks attractive in a sketch.
If the first choice cannot be accepted, send the supplier the revised drawing and explain which element is changing. A column moved to another part of the stand may need a different artwork view or arrangement discussion. Keep the version reference visible so the team is not working from an earlier plan.
For a wider choice of corporate formats, browse the corporate decoration collection. If you are comparing columns with a garland, the columns versus entrance garland guide covers format differences. The exhibition pack still needs to be checked for whichever format you propose.
Separate brand sign-off from organiser answers
Send the approved logo rather than several alternatives without instructions. Identify the wording, colour direction and person authorised to approve the design. Ask Lunar Moments which artwork format it needs and have the requested personalisation identified separately in the quote.
Then record the answers about placement and access. A marketing approval of the logo does not answer an organiser’s question about the stand position, and an organiser’s acceptance of a plan does not confirm a decoration booking or supplier arrival window.
We are exhibiting at [show] on [dates], stand [reference]. Plan [version] marks our proposed two column positions. Please review the attached stand information and advise the overall dimensions and artwork details needed. Our exhibitor contact is checking [open points]. Requested branding is [logo and wording], with approval by [name]. Please also confirm the separate personalisation scope, proposed build access and breakdown arrangements.
Share your exhibition placement pack with Lunar Moments. Agree the design, actual site conditions, date capacity and full quoted scope before treating the display as confirmed.
Exhibition column questions
Does a column package listing establish that it is approved for my exhibition?
No. Check the proposal against the instructions and contacts for your actual show. A catalogue description does not establish organiser acceptance, stand dimensions or supplier access.
Are the installed column height and footprint given by the listed quantity?
No. Ask for the dimensions of the proposed arrangement, including bases and top balloons, then use those details on your stand plan.
Is personalisation included in the branded column price?
The Branded Balloon Columns listing states that personalisation is charged separately, depending on the design. Ask for your requested logo, wording and other personalisation to be identified in the quote.
