For a ribbon-cutting photo area, give the ceremony lead, photographer and decoration contact a short sequence showing the moments you want recorded. Identify the participants, the proposed column positions and who gives the ceremony cue. Keep the ribbon-cutting arrangements separate from the balloon order: a branded display does not establish a ceremony kit, photographer or event-management service.
This guide is for a Dubai business opening where the ceremony is being organised separately. The branded column brief covers artwork and site information. Here, the task is to connect the agreed display to the actual photo sequence.
Name the ceremony owner before discussing the photograph
Ask who is responsible for the ribbon-cutting arrangements and who can decide when the ceremony begins. Identify who provides the ribbon and any ceremonial items being requested. Put unanswered items back to the business organiser rather than assuming the decorator or photographer will supply them.
Confirm the photographer’s own booking, coverage and contact through that separate arrangement. If the business has not arranged photography, mark it as unassigned. A plan for photographs is not evidence that someone has agreed to take them.
The business should also identify which participants are expected in each moment and who will gather them. Ask those responsible about their availability rather than promising that everyone can remain for additional photographs.
Give every requested photograph a participant list
Label the moments P1, P2 and so on. P1 might show the finished branded display before people assemble; P2 could include the named ceremony representatives; P3 could be the ceremonial moment; P4 might be a wider team photograph afterwards. These are illustrative choices, not a standard included shot list.
Beside each moment, write the actual people or roles requested, the colleague who will gather them and any attendance answer still needed. Replace “all VIPs” with an identifiable list. Appearing in the ceremony group does not automatically mean someone is available for the later team photograph.
Ask the photographer to review each requested group and view under their own arrangement. Identify which business name or branding the organiser wants visible. If a view affects the proposed column position, refer that question to the decorator and site contact; do not assume the display can move between pictures.
Keep the column scope precise
The Branded Balloon Columns | Blue & White listing includes two balloon columns, one large balloon on each column and balloon bases. It states that personalisation is charged separately depending on the design, and describes customising colours, personalisation, logos and branding.
Identify the exact business name or logo requested for those columns in the quote. A ribbon-cutting reference image may contain other branding, a ribbon, a podium or people in position; it does not put those elements into the balloon package.
For a separate check of existing signs, use the responsible business or property contact. The sequence below does not establish crowd spacing, technical clearances, ceremony safety arrangements or permission for the proposed position.
Build a photo-sequence card
| Photo moment | People and content to identify | Confirmation and cue |
|---|---|---|
| P1: finished display | Agreed branding and column arrangement; whether this is requested without participants. | Business lead checks display readiness and photographer coverage. |
| P2: ceremony group | Names or roles of the requested representatives; colleague gathering them. | Record each outstanding attendance answer and the agreed assembly cue. |
| P3: ceremonial moment | Actual ceremony participants, distinct from people watching or joining later. | Ceremony lead owns the cue; photographer confirms coverage. |
| P4: team photograph | Separate list of requested colleagues or groups; who gathers each group. | Business lead checks attendance and photographer’s agreed scope. |
| Additional request | New people, group or view, identified separately from the agreed list. | Record the relevant answers before adding it to the working sequence. |
Write actual requested times beside the selected moments, using the full date and Dubai local time. Ask each responsible contact to confirm their part. This illustrative order does not supply a standard ceremony duration or a guaranteed photography window.
Check readiness without giving the wrong cue
In a fictional opening, the columns are ready but a person requested for P2 has not arrived. The ceremony lead decides whether to change the sequence, check their expected attendance or proceed with an agreed alternative. Update the participant list as well as the timing; “display ready” does not settle that decision.
In another example, the photographer asks for a different group view. The organiser checks whether that affects the agreed display or site plan before treating it as accepted. A new photograph should not quietly become an instruction for a different installation.
If the run order changes, tell the people responsible for the affected moments. Ask whether any supplier arrangement changes too. Do not assume an extended wait, extra coverage or additional work is included.
Our business opening is [date and Dubai area]. Ceremony lead [name] owns the ribbon-cutting arrangements and cue. Our separate photographer is [contact or unassigned]. Sequence [version] identifies the requested moments and participants. Please confirm the balloon scope and readiness handover, and flag any photo-position question affecting the proposed columns. Requested personalisation is [exact list], to be quoted separately as applicable.
Discuss the display part of the ceremony plan with Lunar Moments and keep the agreed quote and service scope beside the business’s run order.
Ribbon-cutting display questions
Do branded columns include ribbon-cutting equipment or photography?
The listed column components do not establish those services or items. Identify the ceremony and photography arrangements separately and confirm who supplies each requested part.
Does the display being ready mean the ceremony should begin?
No. Send that readiness update to the business lead. The named ceremony owner checks the relevant participant and photographer arrangements before giving the agreed cue.
Is personalisation automatically included with the columns?
The listing states that personalisation is charged separately depending on the design. List the requested logo, business name and other wording, then confirm the actual quote.
