Gender-reveal balloons: choosing the display before the reveal moment

Gender Reveal Balloon Package | White & Gold catalogue illustration

Choosing balloons for a family announcement starts with a visual question: what would you like the display to look like while everyone gathers? A white-and-gold arrangement and a pink-and-blue display can frame the same occasion differently. Neither a colour scheme nor a product name tells you exactly how the announcement itself will happen.

Choose the display on its listed components, then agree any reveal arrangements separately. That gives your family organiser a clear brief without treating an attractive photograph as a complete event plan.

Choose a palette for the gathering

If you would like the decorations to sit alongside neutral invitations, table settings or an existing room scheme, consider White & Gold as your starting point. If you prefer pink and blue to be part of the celebration's visual theme, start with that display. These are styling preferences, not rules about how a family should celebrate.

You can also request a different palette. The White & Gold listing describes customisable balloon colours, personalisation and ribbon colours; the Pink & Blue listing describes colour-theme options. Send your preferred combination and ask what can be agreed for your date, rather than assuming every shade in a reference image is ready to order.

Compare what each display actually lists

The Gender Reveal Balloon Package | White & Gold lists one gender reveal balloon, two helium balloon bouquets with ten balloons each, ribbon detailing and balloon weights. The Gender Reveal Balloon Display | Pink & Blue lists one personalised bubble balloon and two helium balloon bouquets with eight balloons per bouquet.

Listed display components and questions still to agree
Detail White & Gold Pink & Blue
Main balloon One gender reveal balloon One personalised bubble balloon
Surrounding bouquets Two helium bouquets, ten balloons each Two helium bouquets, eight balloons each
Ribbon and weights Ribbon detailing and balloon weights listed Confirm the ribbon and weight arrangements you need
Personalisation Described as customisable; agree the wording and scope Personalised bubble listed; agree the exact wording
Delivery and setup Ask for the scope in your quote Listing states delivery and setup across Dubai; agree your address, date and quote

An item absent from one description is a question, not proof that it cannot be supplied. Equally, weights listed for White & Gold should not silently become an inclusion for Pink & Blue. Keep the two product scopes separate when asking for changes.

Decide what the personalised wording should say

Pick one person to approve the final text. Write it as you want it to appear, including names, spelling, capital letters and punctuation. If relatives are suggesting different phrases, settle on one before passing the brief to Lunar Moments.

Consider whether the display should welcome guests, name the family or simply mark the occasion. For example, “A little celebration for our growing family” is an illustrative wording idea, not a description of included text. Ask whether your chosen phrase suits the selected balloon and what personalisation is covered by the quote. A customisation option does not by itself establish an extra's price or inclusion.

Describe the setting without guessing the footprint

Say where you would like people to notice the display: beside a gathering table, in a lounge corner or near a plain background. Share a photograph of that area and explain which furniture will stay. If you want the main balloon between the bouquets, describe that preference and ask the team to advise on the arrangement.

The different bouquet counts tell you what is listed, not the display's installed width or its suitability for your room. Keep your preferred placement provisional until the actual space and arrangement have been discussed.

Keep the announcement questions separate

Before treating the plan as complete, ask: does the agreed order cover the display only, or any separately specified announcement element? Who is responsible for that element? What information does the team need, who should approve it, and what remains outside the quote? These are unanswered planning questions; the display descriptions do not establish a reveal method.

Nominate one family organiser to keep the approved display brief and any separate arrangements aligned. That person can check that a colour or wording change has reached everyone who needs it.

A display selection card to copy

We are considering [exact product] for a family gathering on [Dubai local date] at [area/address]. Our preferred palette is [colours] and proposed wording is “[exact text]”. The intended display area is [description/photo], with [furniture] staying in place. Please confirm the listed components, ribbon/weight arrangements, agreed personalisation, delivery/setup scope and total quote. Our organiser is [name]. Please also clarify what, if anything, is included beyond the display and what needs separate discussion.

Ask Lunar Moments about your family display with the completed card. Check the agreed items, date arrangements and booking terms before making plans around them; an enquiry or quote does not confirm a booking.
