For a ceiling-balloon enquiry, send one labelled room-information pack rather than a balloon count and an unmarked photograph. Include an overview drawing, photographs that show the same areas, the dimensions you actually know and the way the room will be used. Ask the supplier which further information it needs to assess the proposed display.
This is a way to organise information for a Dubai home or celebration room, not a technical installation survey. It does not supply a balloon-count-to-coverage formula, attachment method or clearance specification.
Give the room and ceiling areas matching labels
Start with a simple sketch showing the room outline, entrance and furniture that will remain. Label the areas you want to discuss, such as A above the main gathering area and B above a separate seating area. Use those same labels on the photographs and in your notes.
If the ceiling appears to have different levels or separate sections, mark them as observations rather than treating the whole room as one uninterrupted area. Show visible lighting, fans, curtains or other features in the overview and ask the team what information it needs about them. Do not decide compatibility or required spacing from the sketch yourself.
Write “not to scale” if the drawing is only an outline. The useful part is that the supplier can connect each note to the right place, rather than having to guess which corner a measurement describes.
Distinguish measured, approximate and unknown dimensions
Record available room length and width with the units used, and mark exactly which points each measurement connects. Keep dimensions taken from a plan separate from measurements made in the room. If a figure is approximate, label it as approximate instead of making it look precise.
Ask whether ceiling height or another dimension is needed and how the team would like that information supplied. If it is unavailable, mark it “not measured” and explain what you do have. This guide does not ask you to reach ceiling fixtures or improvise a measurement method.
Keep the actual supplier question beside the missing field. “Height unknown: please advise what information you need” is more useful than an invented number that later becomes part of the proposed design.
Build a small photo index
Use an overview from the entrance, a view back towards it and any additional image needed to explain a labelled ceiling section. Photograph the room as it is expected to be used, with relevant furniture visible. Identify planned furniture changes separately.
Give the files simple references such as Room-01 and Room-02. Add a note saying what each image shows and which area labels appear in it. Keep private paperwork, people and unrelated household details out of images shared just to explain the room.
| Record | Your information | Question for the supplier |
|---|---|---|
| Room outline | Sketch reference, entrance and named areas A, B or others. | Which area needs a closer view? |
| Dimensions | Known length, width and any supplied height, with units and source. | What must be measured or checked further? |
| Ceiling sections | Visible differences or features, linked to photographs. | What further details affect the proposed arrangement? |
| Room use | Gathering, seating, photographs or other planned activities by area. | How could the proposed presentation work with those uses? |
| Photo index | File references, direction of view and matching area labels. | Is another view needed? |
| Open fields | Unknown or approximate information and who can resolve it. | Can the team assess the proposal yet? |
Ask for a proposal after the information is reviewed
The Helium Balloons listing describes helium-filled balloons and colour-theme options. It does not establish a fixed quantity for your ceiling area or a complete installed arrangement. Explain the view you would like, then ask the team to identify the proposed quantity, presentation and finishing details.
For an illustrative enquiry, a host might mark A as the main celebration area and B as seating they want considered separately. The supplier is asked to review the two areas and explain what it could propose. The sketch itself does not confirm that either area is suitable or that a particular quantity will fill it.
If you are comparing hanging decorative details, use the cascading-detail and helium-balloon guide. Keep that product choice separate from the room information; neither a reference photo nor a count replaces the actual site discussion.
A message to send with the pack
We are considering a ceiling-balloon arrangement for [date and Dubai area]. Pack [version] contains a room sketch, indexed photographs and the dimensions we know. Areas A and B are labelled consistently. The room will be used for [activities]. Information still unknown is [fields]. Please advise what further details you need and describe the quantity, presentation and scope you could propose for the actual room.
Send Lunar Moments your room-information pack. Agree the actual arrangement, date capacity and quoted delivery and setup scope before treating the plan as confirmed.
Ceiling room-information questions
Can room area be converted directly into a balloon quantity?
This guide supplies no coverage formula. Give the supplier the room information and intended presentation, then ask for the proposed quantity and arrangement for that space.
What if I do not know the ceiling height?
Mark it as unknown and ask whether it is needed and how the team wants the information supplied. Do not substitute a guessed dimension for a checked one.
Are room photographs alone enough to confirm the display?
Ask the team what it needs to assess the proposal. Indexed photographs help explain the room, but they do not by themselves confirm dimensions, suitability, scope or a booking.
